An educator, researcher, and businesswoman, she is deeply committed to enhancing teaching practice and student outcomes across diverse school contexts. L

An educator, researcher, and businesswoman, she is deeply committed to enhancing teaching practice and student outcomes across diverse school contexts. Lauren completed her undergraduate studies in Applied Science: Human Movement Studies with a major in Education at The University of Queensland, graduating with honours before beginning her career with Education Queensland. In 2018, she returned to UQ to undertake doctoral studies, focusing her research on the intersection of education policy and its application within Queensland schools. This work continues to inform her approach to curriculum consulting and system-level improvement. As Director, Lauren leads and mentors GSCollective’s team of consultants, ensuring a cohesive and high-impact approach across all areas of the organisation’s work in education consulting. She remains deeply engaged in client partnerships, working directly with leadership teams to design, implement, and refine strategic initiatives that are both evidence-informed and practically sustainable. Her involvement is deliberate and hands-on, reflecting a commitment to quality, precision, and meaningful outcomes. As an experienced business leader within the education sector, Lauren understands the complexities of leading schools today. She is known for her ability to walk alongside school leaders at both a professional and personal level, bringing clarity to complex decisions, offering grounded perspectives, and building trusted relationships that support sustainable change.
