Lauren is the Founder and Director of GSCollective, leading the organisation’s work in education consulting, professional learning, and strategic school improvement. An educator, researcher, businesswoman, and mother, she brings a deep commitment to improving teaching practice and student outcomes across diverse school contexts.
Lauren completed her undergraduate studies in Applied Science (Education) at The University of Queensland, graduating in 2007, before beginning her career with Education Queensland. She went on to undertake doctoral studies, with her research focusing on the intersection of education policy and its application within Queensland schools. This work continues to inform her approach to consulting and system-level improvement.
As Director, Lauren leads and mentors GSCollective’s team of consultants, ensuring a cohesive and high-impact approach across all areas of the organisation’s work. She remains deeply engaged in client partnerships, working directly with leadership teams to design, implement, and refine strategic initiatives that are both evidence-informed and practically sustainable. Her involvement is deliberate and hands-on, reflecting a commitment to quality, precision, and meaningful outcomes.

Zoe Delaney is an English educator and emerging literacy specialist, committed to improving student outcomes through precise, evidence-informed practice. At GSCollective, Zoe works with schools to design and implement whole-school literacy approaches, supporting leadership teams to build consistency in instruction across year levels and subject areas. Her work is grounded in explicit instruction and structured literacy, including the use of systematic phonics to strengthen foundational reading skills. She has a particular interest in targeted intervention and Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, helping schools respond effectively to students who are not yet reading with confidence.
Zoe is passionate about bridging the gap between research and practice, translating evidence into clear, actionable strategies that teachers can implement with confidence. She is currently completing her Master’s studies, further deepening her expertise in contemporary literacy research and its application in diverse school contexts.
